Computers

There are 12 computers which have access to the Internet and Open Office for public use (9 at the Uxbridge Public Library and 3 at the Zephyr Public Library).

Patrons may either sign up in person or phone ahead to reserve a time. Reservations will be held for ten (10) minutes after the scheduled start time and then be made available on a first-come basis to any patron.

  • Patrons may sign up for one (1) hour in a 24 hour time period.
  • A maximum of two users may be seated at the computer at one time.
  • Patrons may print material for $0.20 per page for black and white and $0.50 per page for colour.
  • Floppy Disks and CD-Rs are available to purchase for $1.00 each.
  • Due to the heavy use of the public access computers, access to chat lines and games may be restricted.
  • The Township of Uxbridge Public Library reserves the right to terminate an Internet session at any time.

Genealogy Computers

There are two computers located in the Genealogy Department which have access to the Internet and are attached to Microfilm Reader-Printers. Patrons may print material for $0.20 per page for black and white and $0.50 per page for colour.

Laptop Computers

There are 10 Laptop Computers which are used for programming for all ages.
