The Township of Uxbridge Public Library has several options for becoming a member. Whether a resident of the Township of Uxbridge or not, there are various options available to you.

Bringing the library to you

For borrowers who are eligible, the library will make sure you get library items delivered to your home. The Visiting Library Service is provided with help from our many volunteers.

Reciprocal Borrowing

Reciprocal borrowing agreements exist with all Durham Region libraries. Upon presentation of a valid library card from any library in Durham Region and current address identification, a Township of Uxbridge Public Library card will be issued free of charge. Township of Uxbridge Library members are entitled to the same privilege at any library in Durham Region.

Note: As of January 1, 2008 the agreement with Pickering Public Library is no longer valid.
