Doing Business with Government

The Business Advisory Centre Durham is hosting a seminar session on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 to help you learn how to do business with the agencies from the Region of Durham, the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada. Understand how each level of government does its purchasing, and how to make them your customers! 

Topics to be covered include:

Government of Canada: Understanding the Federal Procurement Process, Registering in Supplier Databases, Searching and bidding on opportunities and obtaining a security clearance

Government of Ontario: The Procurement Process Tips for Writing Effective Proposals, Marketing to the Ontario Government and reviewing the Supply Chain Management website

Region of Durham: Introducing your products or services to the Region of Durham, finding current bidding opportunities, purchasing methods, RFP evaluation, selection process and completing the RFP process

 The Event is offered free of charge and light refreshments will be served. This event is held at the Region of Durham Headquarters, Room LLC, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby
