In the blink of an eye everyone disappears.  Everyone except for the young.  Teens , middle schoolers, toddlers. but not a single adult.  There are no phones, internet, or television.  There is no way to get help. Hunger threatens, bullies rule, and a sinister creature lurks.  The Animals are mutating, and the teens themselves are changing.  They are developing new talents- dangerous, deadly powers- that grow stronger by the day.  Sides are being chosen and war is imminent….by Michael Grant.

This book was great, the tension starts from the first sentence to the last.
