Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

You bring the food, we’ll waive the fines! Do you owe fines a the Uxbridge Public Library or the Zephyr Public Library? Would you like to clear those fines and do a good deed at the same time?

Well, now’s your chance!

From September 13 to September 27, 2010 patrons are invited to help the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank and themselves, by donating non-perishable food items in lieu of paying library fines. The food bank is in need of cold cereal, canned fruit, pancake mix, syrup, cake mix and muffin mix. For each item donated, we will waive $2.00 in fines from your card. Please note that food donations DO NOT cover lost/damaged book fines.
